November 26-30, 2025

Reconnect with your inner wild child on this 5 day, 4 night adventure from Antigua to Lake Atitlan. From volcano hikes and coffee tours to boating adventures and cooking classes, this epic itinerary has a little something for everyone!

Day 1

Arrival + welcome

Fly into Guatemala City (GUA) to meet group for shuttle to Antigua. We'll settle into our cozy boutique hotel before heading out for a walking tour to shake off the long travel day. Enjoy some free time and a bit of souvenir shopping at the local artisan market before our welcome dinner. After dinner, head back to the hotel to catch up on rest before tomorrow's hike, or keep the party going at our favorite restaurant-turned-dance-floor just down the street!

Day 2

Volcano hike + cooking class

Start your morning with one of the most epic hikes in all of Guatemala - Pacaya Volcano! Don't let the photos intimidate you - this approachable 2-3 hour hike is widely accessible for all fitness levels, and the views are well worth the effort. After lunch, enjoy some free time (we recommend a fantastic local spa to reward your muscles for an active morning adventure!) before a local cooking class in the evening, where we'll learn to make our own authentic Guatemalan cuisine!

Day 3

Coffee tour & transfer to Atitlan

Thanks to it's nutrient rich soil and favorable conditions, Guatemala is home to some of the best coffee in the world! Today we'll have the opportunity to visit a local, family run coffee farm to learn about their process from farm to cup! After lunch, we'll head to the lake to experience an entirely new side of this beautiful country!

Day 4

Lake day adventures!

Get ready for an epic day of adventure, where we'll hop on a boat to check out the coolest villages around the lake - each with its own unique vibe and incredible views. After lunch, we'll visit local markets where you can find some amazing handcrafted souvenirs or gifts for friends back home. As the day winds down, those feeling adventurous can jump on ATVs for an unforgettable sunset ride before our final dinner together as a group (for now!)

Day 5

Departure

While this adventure may be coming to an end, we don't believe in goodbyes - this is just a "see you later!" Plan for your departing flight to leave after 3pm as we make our way back to Guatemala City. If you're extending your adventure, be sure to talk to your trip leader for recommendations on places to stay within Guatemala, or traveling onward to nearby destinations like Belize or Mexico.
