The Great Migration and Beyond

Choose between our 10-day and 14-day itineraries and take this once in a lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the most magical places on earth.

Our 10-day mainland itinerary includes several safari excursions across some of Tanzania's most treasured national parks, and of course - the Serengeti's Great Migration. Between wildlife spotting, we'll have exclusive access to visit local villages and learn about the traditions and cultures of various hunter-gatherer and metalworking tribes.

The 14-day extended adventure includes a continuation on to Zanzibar - famous for it's pristine white sand beaches, but with a deep cultural history many tourists miss. We'll learn, swim, snorkel, and eat our way through living history as our local guides share their wisdom with us.

Are you ready to see the many sides of Tanzania that the guidebooks miss?

FAQs

What if I'm coming solo?

Most of our travelers do! We'll take care of matching you with an awesome roommate (unless you opt to upgrade to a single room!)

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies?

Absolutely! This is one of our specialities - gluten free, vegan, pescatarian - just let us know and we've got you covered!

How much money should I bring, and can I use my credit card?

With most daily expenses covered in the program fee, you'll only need to plan for incidentals like shopping, drinks and snacks outside of scheduled meals. Established shops in larger cities often accept major credit cards, but we recommend withdrawing anticipated spending money in local currency (TZS) from the ATM upon arrival.
